FlexPort 42s ISA Installation Guide & Jumper Settings

Topics:

Caution:

  • To avoid existing PnP hardware setting conflict, please check your system for open IRQ and Addresses.
  • Assign separate unused Address and IRQ for each port. (The default IRQ {5, 7, 10, 11} might not match your system.) Windows 95 users should check "computer" under "device manager" in the "system" and "control panel." Please use the Installation Worksheet to select IRQs for ports.
  • Ports may share same IRQ if they are not operating simultaneously.
Relocate jumpers on FlexPort 42 prior to installing the board into your computer.
  • To disable a port, just remove the Address jumper and IRQ jumper.
