USB to 4 Serial Port Hub Driver Installation Guide

WARNING! DO NOT USE WINDOWS DEVICE MANAGER TO INSTALL THIS DRIVER

1. Unzip, decompress or unpack the Usb4HubDriver.zip file
    
2. Before connecting the USB to 4 Serial Port Board to the computer, run the setup.exe file included in the driver ZIP file.  This will install all the drivers needed and works with all windows platforms.
    
3. When finished, connect the USB to 4 Serial Port Board. The OS will find the new device.
    
4. Use the Windows Device Manager to check the port setting.  J101 corresponds to the serial port 1 as labeled on the chassis.
    
5. If necessary, use the attached KlsiUninstall.exe utility to remove the driver. This utility also removes any old version of the driver that was installed previously.
    
6. You can then use the demo.exe utility or tstflex.exe to test the serial ports with external loop connectors.
