Global Key Accounts Manager

WHAT you’ll be doing

If you are a natural hunter, enjoy the thrill of the chase and have a proven track record in winning multinational deals and growing accounts this could be the role for you.

Working as part of our Global Key Accounts team,  this strategic senior sales role will see you spending around  80% of your time hunting out new business deals. Partnering with  global Flexport stakeholders and using your extensive knowledge of the Freight forwarding industry you will identify new global account opportunities and build out client-specific solutions.  The remainder of your time will be spent growing our European Headquartered, Global Accounts. Using your proven track record dealing with C level stakeholders to build relationships and further grow opportunities 

You will be tasked with coordinating and negotiating annual RFPs and collaborating with Flexport’s client operations teams to identify up sell opportunities. Developing solutions for their logistics needs and communicating Flexport's value

WHAT you’ll need:

You will have extensive experience in a customer facing sales/business development role at a leading international freight forwarder. This experience is essential and will be key to your success. As well as being able to hunt you will also take pride in your ability  to farm and build end to end freight and technology solutions for Global Accounts. You will be innovative and creative in doing so, not scared to challenge and do things differently- this is what will give you the edge and ensure that you get things over the line

You will run a seamless and structured sales process and be experienced  in managing long sales cycles building and maintaining long term commercial relationships. You will have a passion for pursuing new and bold ideas within the context of business priorities, being able  to quickly identify, prioritize, and execute tasks to meet critical project deadlines. Experienced in  problem-solving within multi-faceted and complex systems, negotiating with third-party providers of products and services and  obsessed with client happiness. You succeed when they succeed!
