MeUndies has grown quickly: Within three years of launching, it has become a multi-million dollar business with over 100,000 repeat customers per month.
Early on, the MeUndies team worked with freight forwarders and parcel carriers to fulfill its growing demand. But the same frustrations kept resurfacing. “My biggest issue dealing with previous freight forwarders was the lack of transparency—especially for pricing,” explained Terry Lee, COO of MeUndies. “It was frustrating to understand what we were being charged for. I had to analyze invoices line by line, and was rarely able to receive a quick answer whenever I had questions.”
Then MeUndies switched to using Flexport as its freight forwarder. Part of Flexport’s services includes a platform with easy quoting and invoice details. “Now if I see a discrepancy for a particular shipment,” said Terry, “I can ask Flexport directly. My assigned team answers any of my questions quickly, via the online platform and on the phone.”
The Flexport team offered full visibility for MeUndies’ shipments and invoices. Next, the team captured all relevant product and SKU data onto Flexport’s platform. With structured data, MeUndies was able to make supply chain plans more efficiently, and Flexport could provide even more competitive rates. Terry was enthusiastic: “We used to have to take shipment data from each email and manually translate it on to Excel. Now I have my shipment data stored in one place. I can customize reports and quickly share information within minutes.”
Flexport’s account teams are known for their dedication to customers. Terry noted, “There was a time when we had an important shipment arrive at the port on a Friday and needed customs processing. I told my logistics manager, ‘We have to get this particular shipment prioritized – it has to be then rushed to these locations’ – he found ways to make it happen, even over the weekend!”

Flexport is helping MeUndies to optimize freight processes, using proper SKU data and enabling supply chain visibility. That saves MeUndies a significant amount of time and money. The web app captures all of MeUndies’ products and SKUs, so that all sizes, styles, colors are easily searchable. Better planning enables MeUndies to consolidate cargo for freight shipments, instead of having to use expensive and rushed parcel shipments.
“My Logistics Manager is super flexible to our needs,” said Terry. “I am also mindful of the crazy requests we occasionally have...and still my dedicated Flexport team delivers.”
