Introduction to Ocean

Annie Baron spent two years as an Ocean Freight Associate, learning everything there is to know about FCL Cargo Operations at Flexport. She also led our Los Angeles chapter of BOLD (Black Organization for Leadership and Development), helping to form the employee resource group’s structure and outreach.

Nicole Stratton has led Ocean Consolidation initiatives to grow volume, innovate supply chain solutions, and delight her customers. She pioneered a sales process at Flexport leading to a 300% volume growth in LCL Cargo. Simply put, Nicole knows everything there is to know about LCL.

DP Dang has led the development of Flexport’s Ocean Consolidation Operations in Asia over the past four years. As a Senior Manager of Network Operations at Flexport’s Shenzhen Warehouse, he oversees trucking and warehousing operations for LCL Ocean shipments. While working at home, he has the support of his trusty cat who has been with him for over 10 years.

Luke worked within Flexport’s Trade Lane Management and Business Development teams in Hong Kong. As part of these roles, he helped plan Ocean Consolidation and Operations, onboarding Flexport customers and assisting in their LCL Ocean shipments. Luke’s love for transportation goes far: while in college, he founded an organization to raise money for Tibetan and Nepali schools through sponsored bicycle rides.
