What Are Amazon's Palletization Requirements?

If you are shipping FCL to Amazon you can either palletize or floor load your cargo. If you are shipping LTL to Amazon, your cargo must be palletized, but you can choose whether to palletize at origin or destination. Palletized cargo must be palletized per Amazon's specifications, linked below.

FCL Shipments

If you are shipping FCL to Amazon, you can either palletize or floor load your cargo. See "Pallet Specifications" for Amazon's pallet dimensions and weights.

LTL Shipments

If you are shipping to Amazon using Amazon LTL or Flexport LTL, your shipment must be palletized. However, you can decide whether to palletize at origin or destination. Flexport recommends that you palletize at origin only if your cargo is fragile. If you choose to not palletize your cargo at origin, your shipment will be palletized at our destination warehouse before final delivery to Amazon.

Note that Amazon will only accept wooden pallets, and wooden pallets must adhere to IPCC regulations.
