How Can I Follow a Specific Shipment?

If you would like to follow a specific shipment within the Flexport app, follow these instructions.

If you’d like to receive updates about a particular shipment, but not all of your company’s shipments, you may do so using the Subscriber functionality:

Here are the steps to follow (as illustrated above):

  1. Select the shipment or quote you’d like to follow.
  2. In the upper-right corner of the shipment, there is a drop-down menu listing all people who currently subscribe to the shipment. Click the menu, select your name, and you will now be listed as a subscriber.

If you wish to automatically subscribe to all shipments, you may do so via your account settings:

  1. Click your account icon in the upper-right corner of the screen; then, click the blue My Account button.
  2. Choose Notifications.
  3. Under the Subscribe me to options, select "All shipments within my organization."

How can I subscribe to a specific set of shipments?

If you would like to subscribe to a customized set of shipments -- for example, only shipments that move through specific ports, countries, or locations -- choose "A custom set of shipments within our organization" in your subscription preferences.
