Ryan Petersen is the founder and CEO of Flexport. He is also the founder and ex-CEO of ImportGenius.com, the largest provider of business intelligence to the import-export industry. He has an MBA from Columbia and a B.A. in Economics from UC Berkeley.
Amos previously worked as CTO of Geni.Inc, where he turned one of their internal projects into Yammer. He was also the Technical Lead at Shopzilla. He earned his MS in Computer Science from New York University.
Sanne Manders was previously the head of practice for logistics at the Boston Consulting Group, Holland offices. He’s experienced in servicing clients globally in logistics, transportation, and manufacturing. He has an M.B.A. from Columbia and a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University.
Stouffer oversees Flexport’s sales and account management at the global level. He joined Flexport from Oracle’s Enterprise Cloud Group. Prior to Oracle, Stouffer held multiple sales leadership positions in high growth technology companies ranging from startups to publicly traded firms. Stouffer holds a B.A. in Economics from Trinity College.
Ben joined Flexport in 2014 after leading sales at URX (acquired by Pinterest) and Heyzap (acquired by RNTS Media). He previously co-founded internet security firm FortKnock.
Chris heads up the legal and compliance functions at Flexport. He held the same role at Xoom Corporation up until its purchase by PayPal, Inc. Prior to his time at Xoom, he was an early employee at PayPal, and his first stint there included several years as a member of the eBay legal team. Chris received his JD from Georgetown University, and his BA in History from Stanford University.
Kaitlyn joined Flexport from PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she worked with companies in the technology sector and focused on supply chain and logistics consulting. Kaitlyn received her B.A. in Business Economics from UCLA.
As a recognized leader in the global aviation industry, Neel previously served as the SVP & Chief Cargo Officer for Delta Air Lines, and was also the VP Cargo Commercial for United Airlines. He holds a MBA from Columbia University and a BS from Swarthmore College. Neel currently sits on the Board of Directors of Amerijet International Holdings and is a Senior Advisor to The Boston Consulting Group (BCG).
Jindra joined Flexport after holding various positions at TPG portfolio companies, including Chobani as Chief Information Officer. He previously served clients at McKinsey in the industrial, high tech and energy sectors. Jindra has an MBA from Columbia and a BSc in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics.
Anders oversees sales and accounts in San Francisco, where Flexport is headquartered. He joined Flexport after +10 years at Maersk where he held multiple leadership roles in Operations and Commercial across Europe and China. He has a B.S in Logistics, an M.S. in Economics and an Executive MBA from Columbia.
Henry previously worked for Li & Fung Group as the General Manager. Prior to Li & Fung, he was the General Manager of SF Express Hong Kong and Customs Clearance Manager of DHL. He has an EMBA and Juris Doctor from City University of Hong Kong.
Kelsey leads the world wide accounting organization. Kelsey joined Flexport from Dropbox where she helped build the accounting organization. Prior to her time at Dropbox she held a variety of progressive leadership roles in accounting operations, financial reporting and technical accounting at Autodesk. Kelsey also has career experience with Del Monte Foods, Whole Foods, and Grant Thorton.
Jan van Casteren is responsible for expanding Flexport’s global reach and building its European operations. Jan was most recently a Project Leader for the Boston Consulting Group. There, he supported clients to solve problems in the fields of logistics, transportation, and energy. He earned his MBA from INSEAD in Singapore, and a MSc in Information Science from Tilburg University in Holland.
Brenda oversees global customs at Flexport, and her team ensures timely accurate clearances in line with all regulatory requirements. She is a US licensed customs broker and has over 30 years of industry experience. Most recently she was the VP of Customs Operations at CEVA Logistics.
Kristen leads our Global Recruiting function. Our Global Recruiting Team attracts the best talent to support our international growth. Kristen previously led Recruiting for the Benefits Advisory Practice at Zenefits and the Audit, Compliance, and Risk Practices at Charles Schwab.
Stuart partners with our west coast & southwest clients in building innovative supply chain & logistics solutions. He joined Flexport after leading operations across various companies in the consumer goods and retail space, including Reformation, where he oversaw finance & supply chain. He has an MBA from Wharton and a B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth.
Nerijus has previously worked for Kuehne +Nagel where he developed a pricing department, managed RFP's/RFQ's & led contract negotiations. His team is building global partnerships with asset owners to ensure that Flexport's service is reliable and competitive.
Sean leads Product Management and Design at Flexport. Prior to Flexport, he was the founder and lead engineer of a mobile e-commerce startup. Sean received his B.S. from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.
Justin joined Flexport from the domestic side of the industry, having previously facilitated solutions in small parcel, LTL, and FTL. He now guides Flexport’s East Coast client base through the intricacies of international logistics. Justin earned his B.A. in Sociology from UC Davis.
Jerry leads operations in Asia where he is building world class teams and operating capabilities to deliver innovative solutions for customers, carriers and partners. He joined Flexport from General Electric where he held multiple global supply chain and operations leadership roles in the US and China. He has a Masters in Supply Chain and a B.S in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University.
